Lori Goldsmith, SPHR, HR & Client Relations Manager
Lori's career in the staffing industry began in 1980. After 12 years, when
she was first looking to make a change, Lori marketed herself to Tomlin
Staffing. At that time, Tomlin did not have an opening for someone with Lori's
level of experience. Undaunted by Tomlin's inability to hire her, Lori
persisted and joined Tomlin as a Staffing Manager in April 1998. As HR &
Client Relations Manager, Lori is responsible for ensuring superior service
through the staffing process and managing all aspects of the Human Resource
function. “Tomlin represents the highest standards in the staffing industry,
which is why I was so determined to join them. I am very proud to be a member
of the Tomlin team.”
Lori is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Human
Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and has a B.A. in English Literature.
She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
SHRM is the world's largest association committed to advancing the human
resource profession to ensure that HR is an essential and effective partner in
developing and executing organizational strategy. Lori serves on the board of
HRTampa (the local branch of SHRM) as Director of Professional Development,
responsible for promoting the advantages and value of HRCI certification to HR
professionals.
She also serves the community as a volunteer/ambassador with H. Lee Moffitt
Cancer Center and was chairperson of the Screening Committee for job readiness
training with the Tampa Urban League for many years (1989-1997).
